So here's my list of the things that I so much miss in Manila.
1. The view from the train - A mixture of dilapidated and newly constructed buildings. My favorite is the view of Pasig River before Central Station.
2. The blind men singing for donations - I totally like their voices especially the Lolo (grandpa) beside Manila City Hall.
3. Gotesco Tower - This is where I used to live during my final year in college. There were a lot of memories made on that place together with my friends. Seeing that earlier made me reminisce those days.
4. PNU - Of course, this will never be forgotten on the list. HAHAHA :)
5. FOOD - After a long and tiring line in DFA, the first thing that came into my mind was the D' Cream Tea House and had their bestseller, Golden Sun. My tummy was starving so I decided to eat at my favorite food house, the Blue Potter's. It's located at San Marcelino cor. Ayala Avenue, in front of PNU Alumni building near at the back of SM Manila. When I got inside, I saw the owners of that place and to tell you the truth, they're one of the nicest people in the world. I call them Nanay and Tatay as a sign of respect. It's been almost a year since the last time I'd been there. They thanked me for coming back and not forgetting to eat there. I ordered my favorite "Sinigang na Baboy" with one and a half cup of rice. The food there made me feel like I'm just eating at home. It really has that kind of homey feeling. Even if I was alone, I enjoyed the eating there but, actually, I miss my friends so much.

I just realized that Manila takes a very huge part of my life. It's where I met the people that taught me many things in life and I survived living there on my own apart from my family for years. I learned how to spend my money wisely, wash my own clothes and being a street smart.
